I think something is wrong with my bike at slow speeds it feels hard to turn and the faster I go it feels soft almost like I have a flat tire, but I don’t.

Think the steering dampner could be causing this and how do you tell if its bad or not?

What else do you think it may be?

Stock dampner and I have 32,000 miles on it, 04 busa.

Time to have the damper rebuilt/changed oil or swapped out anyway.  Might as well eliminate it.

(Mr Brown @ Nov. 12 2006,10:54) Check your steering head bearings.
+1 also with that many miles have your fork oil changed and suspension settings checked.

The damper usually gets easy to turn when the oil gets old, a low front tire
can cause the steering to feel heavy too.

I will look at doing the oil in both, tire pressure is okay.

Start with the easy thing first. Unbolt the damper its only two bolts, check then move on from there. If you are running stock fork oil up front at 32K time for a change, while you are in there I would rebuild the front shocks, new springs and valving sounds like you are planning on keeping this unit. If you need some suspension thoughts hit me up. Swap out your bearings too.
