Who can shift their Busa @10,500 in first gear without flipping it? I picked up my bike Saturday and rode it home 92 miles, across the Bay Bridge in Annapolis,MD. (SCARY). They had a high wind warning for the bridge and a storm on the way. Anyway, when I got home I rode a little, shifting the bike at 7000 rpm was enough. I can't imagine shifting @10,500.

IT WILL NOT FLIP JUST DON'T POWER SHIFT IN IN FIRST GEAR. JUST KEEP YOUR CHEST ON THE TANK, IT WILL GET A LITTLE LIGHT BUT WILL NOT FLIP OVER.RIDE SAFE RICHIE

I'm with richie. If you're going to try it make sure you have your weight down on the bike. Some people have the tendency to allow the speed to make them pull back on the bars. You've got to be pushing down on the bike.

MDBusa,
You live on the eastern shore? Do you ever race at Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD? I'm in Hyattsville, MD. Give me a shout if you read this, maybe some good riding and crabcakes this spring. :)
