Push pins fitted correctly

Hi guys, I've had the bottom pannel off to change exhaust and cannot remember which way the push pins fit
Pannel into bracket or
Bracket into pannel
I know it's a silly question but it bugs me if it's not right

U have it backwards.(pic 1) Easier removal the other way 'round.

Like Rubb said, normally they go from outside in.

What usually confuses me is whether the plastic tab goes inside the metal or outside. Looks like you have it inside on the right and outside on the left. I'm sure the tabs both go on the inner surface of the bracket. I put the button facing out like the others said.

Well noticed Mythos ,out I go again to pull the pins

I've done that before. Also, I believe I have run the bike with the rivets in backwards like you first had them. I'm sure it was even more of a beotch to get them out the next time I removed the belly pan..
