problems with 6th gear

You guys are so full of misinformation it sickens me. 600 mile bike. Give me one reason not to take it back to the dealer. The worst that could happen is that he learns something.

You should have no problem adjusting the height of your shift lever. I would never let a dealer shop touch my bike for anything that simple. The less they fork with it the better. If it's more complicated than the shift lever, like it's something inside, that's different and I would take it in.

I had the same problum took it to the dealer twice and of course they found nothing wrong.It has gotten much better after the amsoil change and now i clutchless shift into 6th and it never happens.

I had the same problem here. It did it about 5 times in the first 200 miles. The problem went away completely before the first oil change.
