Has anyone tried powdercoating their generation 1 exhaust cans? Does the powdercoat stand up to the heat? Does anyone know how hot the cans get when you are riding? I work in manufacturing as a supplier quality engineer and we powdercoat in house for corrosion resistance....but I'm not sure if it will hold up to the heat. My black 2007 Hayabusa would look awesome with a black exhaust but I want to stay with the stock exhaust....???
