If anyone is in the Goldsboro/Seymour Johnson Air Force Base area and has the time, come join us for a ride on the 14th. I just got this e-mail at work and it would be great to see more Busa's out there with me! Here is what I got in the email:

On 14 September 2011, there will be group motorcycle ride to Bentonville Battlefield to honor, and help raise awareness within the local community about POW/MIAs.

This group ride will start around 0930 after the Candle Light Visual at the Base Chapel. Riders are asked to meet at Commissary loading docks, behind the chapel, prior to the 0930 start time. We will conduct a safety briefing on group riding, then ride off base via the Berkeley Gate. We will pick up our escort from the Wayne County Sheriff Department. The Sheriff will escort us down Elm St. to Stevens Mill Rd., via Hwy 117. Any civilian riders, who cannot access the base, can join the ride as we make the right on Elm St. Once we arrive at the Bentonville Battlefield, we will dismount and proceed to the monument field; where a guest speaker will address the group, and lead us into a moment of silence. This will be the conclusion of this event, and individuals are welcome to enjoy the historic sites of battlefield.
