BT locked it I deleted the last image on the post... OF course it started out OK but ended up with someone pushing the limits.... There should never be any images on this site that would cause someone to get fired..... Use the HR standard not what you believe to be permissable.. It boils down to this, if you dont like it leave... I know every day that I wake up that this site is clear of porn, we monitor the site to keep it on the safe side as opposed to crossing the line... I set the rules years ago and I tell folks right up front what those rules are, read the agreement that you clicked on when you signed up... I have a responsibilty to be consistant and to make sure that I keep those standards. I think that all guys like a good pic of a hot babe and a bike but there are differing opinions on what is acceptable in a public forum. To keep the confusion down on what is acceptable we ask folks to use common sense in what they post and we also ask that they respect the views of other members here. For those folks that can't seem to use common sense and always insist on pushing the envelope we have moderators that I have chosen that I feel have the best interest of our community in mind. I do not and cannot review every single post on this board, there are roughly a thousand a day. I know that many of you think that I just sit here waiting to find something to delete and that I am a censor Nazi. Truth be told I just don't have the time or energy to police this board like it was full of children. I do sometimes come off rough and leave very little room for discussion on my decisions, when you get as many emails wanting to know why something was done it eats your time...
I have said this a hundred times on this board before.... This site is not for everyone, if you dont like the rules then leave. I do like the involvement with the folks here and I dont want anyone to just up and leave beacause we disagree. However there are hundreds of other places on the net to post those images that we dont want here...
Everyone needs to know that while most of the images here that have been removed are not what I would consider Porn they are risque and I will not put members in a position where their kids or spouse or co worker would have a problem....
I know I know you should not surf the web at work, a person can deal with a spouse and keep your kids out of the office... But we shouldnt have to do those things, that is not what I designed the site for.. I wanted a place that anyone could go to, anytime anywhere without fear of losing their job or have to spend 30 minutes explaining a picture to a kid.......

So in other words Captain your going to let a few bad apples spoil the bushel? I understand the concern, but I think its going alittle overboard just shutting the forum down. When I have went through and looked at the pictures others have displayed, I have seen very little that I thought was offensive. But where's the moderators to step in and send a message to those that would put something up and tell them three strikes and your out
Give them a verbal pm and then if they if they do it again....send them an email...then if they do it again...then don't let them on the board to post...seems simple to me. I personally think this was alittle overboard over nothing but woman in bathing suits...now if I had seen nekkid breast or there crouch hanging out then I would personally have a problem. Do whatever you feel is best....but to me you handle this in a wrong manner. And yes we are grown ups we should act like it, but don't ruin it for everyone just because a bad apple got in the basket......laters

Now, I like women as much as the next guy... clothed, risque, unrobed, etc etc. However, this site is about the Busa not about the Babes nor the b00bs. I know where I can go to see that stuff... bed with the S.O., internet sites galore, local "clubs", but not Hayabusa.org.
There's a part of me that enjoys the motorcycle world carte blanche. Motorcycles and women do not go hand in hand... though we all agree they go together nicely. However, I would offer women and almost anything go together nicely... the one thing that these women do not go very well with is my job! I can surf from work, I can even post a few times a day without it being a problem. I cannot, however, have a coworker (especially a female coworker) oversee a risque photo of a woman on my screen.
We all need to be mature enough to realize that there are other boards to sow our electronic oats and that this board just happens to be fairly free of the oat sowing.

I can see what cap is saying and its all in how ya perceive things and no two people do it the same way what might be nothing to one might offend some one else. I posted one photo on the first thread and the significant other didn't take to it too well sense she also browses this board one other way to look at it might be if ya wouldn't frame it and place it on your living room wall for all of family and guests to see don't post it. just my 2 cents
Im glad the thread was locked. I think we've all seen situations get out of control here regarding this. Don't get me wrong porn/hot chicks are cool I even know a few great sites I could shoot you to (right VIC E55?)
Im all for it, just not in a informative motorcycling community such as this one. I thouroughly enjoy this site for the information it offers and sense of community that it has.

As has been said a thousand times before, there are plenty of places on the web to get "chick fixes" or whatever you want to call it. There is absolutely NO need to turn this site into another place for that. It is about the busa and bikes in general. If you simply must have babes along with your bikes, as Captain said this site may not be for you. Go elsewhere and find a site that suits your needs.
This board has been an awesome place full of great folks since I've been a member here and most of them have stuck around because of rules like this and the fact that the board is family oriented rather than just another smutfest with bikes. Personally, I'll do anything I can to make sure it continues to be the kind of place it started out being.

But this board has more then just bike issues and woman.....Smack Shack is a good example......thats why we have quote Random Thoughts....putting a pretty face on pic...or even more look at the two pictures I just put up.....you saying that is offensive....geeez if that is you need to take the bottle out of the mouth and grow up.....tell me what wrong with those pictures.....
Yet people can come on here and run there mouths in other forums and get away with it...sounds like to me your calling the kettle black bro....
I will say it again.. just as I have in the past..
I LOVE women.. I love looking at women.. always have... always will...
however this is not a "male only" board. We have some pretty cool women on this board..
and yes, I don't want my boys logging on to the board seeing women.. hormones at that age are bad enough without having the stuff popping up in your face.. I have firewalls setup in my house that blocks most bad web sites.. I also have log files I can look at to see where everyone in my household goes to. I don't block nor do I monitor hayabusa.org.. it is a safe haven that I don't worry about my family going to.
And yes it is nice to know that even though I have my own office.. with a door and no one can see where I go.. the IT department STILL monitors what goes on.
But one of areas that I think of is the women on the board... I would not like it if I started seeing a lot of threads with guys pictures... especially (shiver) near neked guys..
And while I am sure some of the women on the board are Bi (statistically speaking) I think most probably feel about looking at threads with girls the same way I would if pics of guys were being posted all the time.. a little bummed.. a little discouraged..
As much as a lot of guys would like to think this way. this is not a male only world.. it is not a boys only club.. the women on this board deserve our respect and I find it disrespectful to post pictures of women on this board.
And I will state again.. I am not some individual that doesn’t like looking at pics of women. And I think women are just fricken hot.. but it is not needed here..
So if you don’t care about work place issues.. and if you don’t care about members children that might be able to see stuff here that they are blocked from seeing elsewhere.. then at least think of it as a respect issue towards the women members of this board who are not objects, they are respected members, some of which can outride a lot of our buts.
