PCII or PCIII

I've got a 2001 and am finally gonna put a PC on my bike and do an exhaust upgrade to a full system. I want to know if the PCIII will work on it or if I'm restricted to the PCII.

OK techies give me some help before I spend my money!

everything I've read says that the II works on 99-01... IIIr/USB etc. only work on 02 and up..

PC3r will work on an 01 but you will not be able to adjust timing
