painting mid pipes

I am wanting to paint my mid pipes. Does anyone have any experience with painting them? Maybe with High temp paint or something?

I beleive it was Blondeonabusa said her husband painted the midpipes with black engine paint and baked them in a oven. It's holding up.

The grill paint doesn't hold up too well. My buddy did that on his midpipes/mufflers. We sanded the pieces, cleaned em, and painted them last year. This year they look pretty bad.

I would say ceramic coating would hold up the best.
