I chose the 750 over the 1K because.......LOL
I had an 04 1K before the 04 LE and i felt that it was just a little too much to have fun on with the street. the 1K can get you into trouble in the twisties before you know it and I admit I am not the best at twisties.
Besides, I love the loaner bikes...... The bikes with no company. Who else manufactures a 750?
And finally if you check the Sept 04 Cycle World magazine you will see that the Gixxer 750 is no joke.
The only bike to produce faster lap times with the 15 or so riders was the ZX10. Thats right the 750 even beat up on its big brother, the 04 Gixxer 1K. Although, I will say that the 05 Gixxer 1K will most definately hand the 750 its a$$ on a plate.
Had a chance to put about 30 miles on it today. And I must admit it is fun as hell. I am used to big bikes and the power coming in around 4500rpm which isnt the case with this bike.
But if you can hurry up and get it up to about 9000rpm the fun starts.
I believe in the HARD BREAKIN........
