you like this stuff? you should have seen our "ram air" testing.. you would have busted a gut...

We built "scoops" and mounted them on the nose of the alcohol dragster..

We then hooked pressure sensors down the length of the thing and made passes..

We could have saved a lot of work, Vince our engineer buddy (also our dyno operator) told us exactly what would happen.. I did not listen and had to see for myself..

any gains to be had with the ram air, was sucked up by drag.. we could get the air to go positive pressure at 60 mph but according to his math, the drag it induced needed the additional power to move the car... all we did was induce more wear and tear in other words to go just as fast..

Aero's are more important and getting "clean" airflow...

i have screwed up more stuff for no good reason... Now, how about some "hydro-dynamics" on a 180mph drag boat hull.... ya know rough is good.. :)
