I am not a new rider, been riding for 25 years on and off.
My first bike was a Yamaha RD350LC smoker. Wicked fun first bike. Highly recommended as a first bike. Wheelie machine.
My second bike was a 1986 Blue and Red GSXR1100
This was not me riding, but my buddy who I got the bike from.
I crashed it head on into a Chrysler New Yorker in Sept. 1993.
I took 6 years off, and got a second blue and white 1986 GSXR1100.
This bike was a pile of crap, but it was my favorite bike. It had so much character, and it was a beast.
I then got a 1998 VTR1000 v twin. Great bike, but it was so freaking boring I got bored of motorcycling completely. I sold it last May, and figured I was done forever.

That lasted one year, until I was in the Suzuki dealer looking around.
I decided on the spot to take home a bike.
I was torn between an all Black GSXR750 and the last Busa in the city.
The little woman liked the Busa better(both looks and comfort), and I have wanted one since late 1998. So after a 10 year wait, I bought a brand new 2008 Busa.
I am picking it up Monday after work, and will post pics of it then.
It is all stock with the Blue/black/gold wheels colour scheme.
I can't friggin wait!
