I'm still waiting for Friday when Greg test K&N, BMC and DNA filters.

I've always been loyal to K&N because it is the original. Every vehicle I've owned for about 20 years has had either a K&N CAI or a drop in filter. It may not flow better than some of the late comers, but there is something to be said for brand loyalty. And to me that out weighs 1hp or 2 that another brand MIGHT give. Plus the K&N Sticker that comes with the filter matches my Orange Busa perfectly.

I was a K&N beliver too, untill I put one in my Magna, the K&N has about 1/3rd the filter area of the stock one. I am only still using it cause it costs less than factory and I don't mind cleaning it every 3K miles when I do an oil change.

We won't have a K&N unless someone next days one to me. But I will test the stock and from previous testing we know stock flows better than K&N.
What? a paper filter flows better than a cotton filter? How can that be? There was a noticable difference when I dropped my K&N in my 02 busa. And every car I've put one in too. I haven't had a chance to test the one I just put in my K8 because of a broken wrist.
