Agreed, it looks like the 70's. So many bikes, so little time.

for $10 grand plus TT&T to get my azz handed to me even at the dyno by every 600cc sportbike currently made?..and by a large margin?..i'll admire looking at someone elses who's in a race to the bottom. LOL!

and as far as playing the "yeah..but it has old school class" card?...(which i'll admit it does)..i bet most of the components that make up that bike came out of their overstock warehouses..and why lord oh why would anyone drop that kinda dough these days on such a dog when a decade ago Kawi had a simular re-release of the Eddie Lawson Race Replica...which i immediately bought..my ZRX1100R...

they ran about $6,999 and came with a radiator and?..made close to 100rwhp and 70ftlbs bone stock..if i recall properly?..w/ a full muzzy meg, K&N Pods and a dynojet kit i was getting around 112rwhp and gobs of torque...two teeth up on the rear sprocket?..and just whack the throttle anywhere above 3K rpm in 1st and the front wheel was airborn..until i totaled it into the side of a minivan two years later at 45mph..i was maybe 20yds away when i realized the 70+ years old man behind the wheel was looking right through me and darted out in front of me making a left...slam!..came to with a crazed old women screaming "Get Up! GET UP!" and trying to jerk me up to my feet..with me screaming explitives back at her..until the female nurse in the car behind me told her.."Mamm!..I'm an Regisered Nurse and i'm going to hafta ask you to step back from that man!"....then she leaned over me and told me..

"You just relax...paramedics are on their way and i saw the whole thing..it wasn't your fault."

and i loved hearing that last part but man did that blow. LOL!

And I'd bet money...even with just 70hp you could get the front end off the ground!

That page is showing that at least it has preload adjustment on front and rear suspension.
Better than nothing, which is what I've seen previously.
Should handle a little better than expected.

Remember this one?

CBX, 600 pounds, 105 hp, 9000 rpm, 24 valves and a very cool sound.

Had a brand new 1976 Honda 750F Super Sport that I purchased in that same year. The first picture reminded me of it with the wire spoke wheels. That was such a great bike!
I bought a CB750 killer in '78 ....... KZ650

yeah...i bet ya could..and alls ya hafta do is from a 5mph roll, rev to redline and dump the clutch...

with a fat chick on the back.! LOL!

or just do it the safe easy way...a bottle jack and a 2x4.

Just jk'in..cause actually you're right...should be a breeze to wheelie...with 1100cc's of heavy parts inside?..with that low of a HP rating?..it should at least have some serious torque...and definantly isn't built like more agressive bikes where they are by design engineered to keep the front end down under hard acceleration...engine/rider weight waaaay forward..real shallow rake...the CB has none of that. LOL!

My first motorcycle was that 1981 CB750K shown in the first pic above. I can't believe I ever sold it. I eventually did end up upgrading with the CB900C shown in the second pic. I actually had that one well into the mid 90s and took it on the dragon for a SCARY ride. It was a big and non handling machine!
I had a 900 custom as well. A 1980 blue one too. The hi and low range with the 5 speed trans was cool. I kept mine 12 years.
Our dealership already has deposits on ordered CB1100's.

They still build this bike with a fuel injected motor now . . .

It needs a ZX14 motor in it with all 6 gears !

Then we would have a throw back ?

Something that can go too !

Kawasaki ZRX 1441 .
