New Gallery

OK guys we put up a new gallery that runs in mysql last night so go have a look.  



The old gallery was having a hard time keeping up with the demand and this new board is a lot easier for me to manage. If you will notice, there is a place for user galleries, thats right boys and girls you too will be able to have your own galleries. Ninja Eater ran a test for me so look at his and you can see what he did. The new gallery is a mix between the upload center and the old gallery because I can control disk quotas and permissions per user from the admin panel.

Take a look, roam around and let me know what you guys think.

Nice new look.

The pages are somewhat wide, and requires L-R scrolling to view. Can the page be narrowed to fit within the 800x600 screen size?

Is there a way to upload pictures into the "User" galleries so that all of our pics are in one spot? I didn't see an upload tab/button for the "User" section. Will each registered user be able to have their own gallery? With the current and previous gallery, the pics were all mixed together, and you had no idea who they belonged to.

I'm not trying to be critical. I know it's a lot of work, and I was just trying to give you some feedback.

That is exactly the reason for the new gallery so that each person can have a place that they can upload their pics. I have not integrated the sql from the board to the gallery yet but eventually you will have a login that you will use and I can set permissions differently for each user. Who surfs in 800 X 600

What resolution should we be surfing in? 800x600 works pretty good for me.

That's great and looks super. I'm using 1152 x 864 resolution & dsl. MySql is an amazing little product that should be giving the other databa$e vendors fits.

Is there a way to get a HAYABUSA.ORG link in the gallery that can bring you back to the Board??? I like the new layout and I will really like having a gallary of my own. Finally I will have a place to stick my porn Collection.

Oh Hey Captain, I think I know what stkr00 is on about, when you click on a picture to view the next screen that shows up has the frame offset to the right. Even at 1024X768, it's shunted over to the right so you have to scroll over to center it.

OK I lowered the number of columns and rows of pics and I also lowered the number of pics in the filmstrip which should help with the scrolling

Looks dead center and 5/5 Captain. Damn, Talk about fast service, you DA MAN!!! Layout looks good and I kind of like that a person cannot just save the pictures out of the Album, might help prevent anyone elses bike photos from being used for ill purposes. Especially on ebay...

There will be a watermark on all of the pics soon enough. From now on any pics that are uploaded to the gallery will have hayabusa.org stamped on them.

Everything looks fine now. I tried the 1024x768, but everything gets too small to read. Maybe I should get a bigger monitor. Only a 17".

Seriously though, I like it the way you've got it now. Couldn't ask for better service.
