New Drag Bike

Have been looking for a V Twin drag bike for sometime well the opportunity presented itself Night before last & Yesterday I snatched it up
2006 HD VRod Destroyer for those that don't know it is HD's Factory Drag Bike. This bike has never been on a track or even run except for the day it was originally sold.

i have a 03 busa that iam building into a drag bike.

right now it has for mods

6 inch extensions
1 down front 2 up rear sprockets
race filter
quick shifter
pc5
auto tuner
mr12
00 subframe
full yosh exhaust
front race plastic
12 inch extended tail
lowered front 1.5 inches
lowering lnks in the rear as low as possible

best 60 foot 1.566
best et 9.38

my plans are
light weight swingarm 10 to 14 over stock
side winder
flat pan
new lowering links so I can go lowering
front fender lowering bracket
Penske shock
smaller front tire
air shifter set up
auto shifter...

Sad part is that we could spray a factory stock liter bike from Japan & wear that destroyer out with a bar & a slick installed *

There's a fellow I know who spent a lot of money in performance parts on his VRod and decided it was time to show my Bumblebee bike who was who.....

It didn't go well for his bike....... he told me he figured his bike was fast....I said it is fast for a Harley......

replace the valve springs
they Notoriously break and bad things happen
with air they can be swapped in the frame

Its a pity Harley discontinued the German design motor pretty bullet proof for a Harley

Over the months i have had my busa quite a few people have asked how fast is a COMPLETELY stock busa in the quarter mile? I honestly dont know much about drag racing so i cant say for sure.Anyone here has any ideas about how fast does a busa out of the box does on the drag strip (granted its in the hands of a good drag rider)?
