Hey guys n eed some quick proofing here. I am in the process of finishing up changing my front and rear sprocket and chain. I went to the 16/42 ratio. Everything looks good except that when I run it on the stand I can hear a noticeable noise like the chain rubbing. I narrowed it down to the plastic guide between the fron and rear sprocket. It is rubbing that guide on the outside and it looks like the chain is sitting more left on the sprocket. I can see where it is rubbing. I never heard it with the stock set up and never had it on the stand then either. Of course I ride with a lid so I never heard it then either. My buddy who is helping me seems to think it is fine and that I should ride with my lid on and test it that way. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!

somebody has to know the answer to this?

Aftermarket sprockets do make more noise then stock.
If you noticed the stock front sprocket had a rubber bushing on it to help with noise, while the aftermarket more then likely doesn't.
