I was asked by a fellow .org member, to show him, how I modified my chatterbox unit, to add earbuds, instead of the supplied speakers.

. Much credit to the author, for a great writeup. Perhaps you can find ideas there are well.
My setup is pretty simple. You just need to be handy, with a soldering iron (or find someone that is). Get you some "quality" male/female connectors. I used Dean Connectors, that I had sitting around, from when I used to hobby RC Cars. Get you some heat shrink tubing, & some "in-ear" earbuds of your choice. I also used hot glue to help seal the soldered connections. That's pretty much it.
