my battery died....

Hi all!

I have my busa for 6 months.Bought it new '03...yesterday and without a warning my battery died.....6 month period seems kinda small to me for a battery to die..

is it?

depends....[adult diaper] anyway , back to the topic .

-did the batt hava a lot of down time
-was it exposed to high temp fluctuations
- lots of low speed ,high drag riding
- could have been toast right out of the box[it happens]

I would do some tests , make sure its not the stator,the reg,the rec. etc tec

6 mo is , on average , A SHORT LIFE FOR YER batt .

Something drained it. Best thing to do in the future is get a battery tender and plug in after every ride. Keeps the performance up also.

I had a battery do the same thing to me. Sometimes you get a bad one.
