Muzzy Fan Install

Looking to install the Muzzy fan this weekend. Any info on the install would be appreciated. I am replacing the fan only. Do I have to remove the Fan housing or is it possible to remove.replacethe fan with doing so?

If you are replacing the fan blades, you can remove the lower fairings, so that you have access from both sides.  There is an electrical connector on the left, disconnect that, then remove the three bolts to the fan assembly; you need the right lower fairing off to make it easier to get to the one in the middle, between the headers.  Once you have the assembly off, there are three screws as I recall, simple remove and replace the screws and the fan.  Re-install the assembly.  DO NOT FORGET TO RECONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR for the fan!  Reinstall the fairings and you will be good to go.

Thanks for the quick reply. I plan to get started Friday evening; in time for the South Florida Air Show. I need to fight the heat. Will try to take some pics along the way.
