But that’s where my non latching button comes in, emulates the clutch signal?
You'd have to figure out which wire from the harness was that one, and what voltage it needed to see. Then figure out how to make the button emulate that signal. Not saying it can't be done, but it's not gonna be a simple plug and play deal.

I must be missing something, my understanding is the MSD can be triggered by two methods,
Too earth (people often use the clutch switch for this but doesn't have to be)
Or 12v positive in which case you swap 1 wire on the MSD plug.
Neither of these have any input/output/communication with the ecu.

Can anyone confirm either way if I understand correctly?
