MSD launchmaster use  (FI light on afterwards)

I have a 05 drag busa. It has wheelie bar and 7 inch slick. Just put a MSD launchmaster on it. Whenever I'm on the 2 step the FI light starts flashing but still runs great. Just didn't know if anything i should be concerned with or not. But once i start the bike the next time theres no FI light on until I get on the 2 step again. Just wondering if anybody has any input on this.

That really bothered me until I called MSD, they said ECU picked up the misfire but has no effect.150 plus passes last year with mine,no harm. A little electrical tape keep it from buggin' me while I'm watching the tree. Just love that little box now

I JUST INSTALED ONE ALSO WITH THE SAME RESULT. GOOD INFO

Thats the bad thing about their 2 step, the that Cycle-Tek and I (Boostbysmith) build together doesn't set the FI light, and comes with a shift light, and has autoshift output as an option

I had the same problem with the MSD also. I called them and they said the same thing about the ecu detecting a misfire, they said it normal and the bike still runs great.
