A good point was brought up as well. You can shave that plastic tip of the clutch switch to make it just work perfect for you. I have some friends that really don't preload the clutch and some others that wear out shoe soles holding the thing down at the tree. Not everybody launches the same. Ive tried all different kinds of ways. I guess its all about what you are comfortable with. If i load up the clutch and hold the bike down with my feet and the tree has a problem, its not going to be a good launch which has cost me at brax races several times. Because of that i don't use that method. Two fingers, lever up against my knux, right arm up
