Guys, I have to admit that I know nothing concerning chains. (except it helps my bike go fast fast

) Seriously, I see our vendor offering chains for sale. I know I need one but I have no idea which one. Could someone post something breaking down the chain type as it corresponds to the need.

(ie. you need this type of chain for a bike that has a , b, c, for mods and if you plan on doing e, f and g later on)

That type of thing...... Thanks guys!!!!

For regular riding, Gregs 520 conversion would be alright. For anything like drag racing or power adders like Nitrous, turbo, etc... , the stress on the 520 would be too much (generally) and you'd want a heavier duty 530.

in all honesty...there are too many variables to give the kind of answer you want.
I went with a nice 530 ZVM from DID.
530 is the stock link size and for longevity with the weight and torque of the busa will likely do you the best.

If you want to see what types of have special applications then visit a few of the manufacturer's websites ...they all have very nearly the same build quality when it comes to their top chains.

I am normally a Tsubaki patron (6 series Sigma) but the DID 530 ZVM has served me well for the last 7K miles with little to no adjustment.
