A whole lot of no updates.  Everyone is probably busy with x-mas  

I think my goal is to break 20,000 miles for the year.  But I'm still 1600+/- miles to go.   I don't know....

I'm impressed on how many people ride as much and More than me. I haven't owned a car in 16 years now and have been riding bikes as my only transportation . I always thought I rode alot , of course i'm married now so I don't get to do alot of extra riding now . Let me rephrase that , I don't get to do alot of extra bike rides now. But still ride everyday for work. Here's to everyone that rides : Ride safe and keep the rubber side down!!!!!

No we already had somebody that blew a motor @ 99k and rebuilt it

rebuilts are reset to 0 miles

Brought my baby home on 2/1/06. Currently have 9,346 miles on her. Not too bad with winters being what they are here in Rochester, NY.

Yeah! Numb THIS!

I got 94k+ miles on the frame!

Besides, we just changed the crank and the pistons,...and the camshafts, and uhhh, well...ok you've got a point. But the engine case is still stock!

Welllllll, IF I had checked my oil after Laguna 05 before I went to the track....

Spun a rod bearing.
I would probably still be running with no problems except that it was using a little oil. Before that, I got to 72k miles with only normal maintenance, no major problem. I had to change the temp sender. The temp would go up, then the fan would come on and the temp would stop rising, but not go down. The fan would kick off and the temp would go up some more and the fan would kick in until the temp stopped rising but would kick off again. So the temp never came back down. Changed the temp sender and it solved the problem.
When I got the engine rebuilt, I had bigger intake and exhaust cams put in, and the last time I had the sprockets changed we went with the Power up sprocket, one tooth smaller in the rear. So it has a little more pickup than stock.
