Lowering

Hey peeps, I'm ready to lower the Busa, but need some opinions. My bike currently has Heli Bars on it, which would be the best way to lower it and which would give the best ride, using a new triple tree or reeper risers? What is the normal lowering (inches), without sacrificing ride quality or bottoming out? What about the rear height?

I got the risers and kept the same triple tree. I lowered 1.5" front and 2" rear with dog bones. I think any lower it will start hitting on the rough roads around where I live.
