Lowering the front

What is the right way to lower the front of the bike? I know you use links for the rear. Do you just strap it down? I think that would be to rough for the street.

A lot of people swap out their upper triple clamp and let the fork tubes come up through it.

Others have the forks cut.

I've had a bad experience with lack of ground clearance, so I'll be staying away from lowered bikes personally.

You can raise the top clamp with handlebar risers (Genmar, Reaper, stacks of washers) and then slide the fork tubes up.

you can get risers or change the top tripple tree there are maany tripples out there. I have a black one laying around in the tool box. I used it for a whiel and then went canck to stalk so
