What do you mean by burn the packing out? Tell me the process for this, like removing all the fiberglass and crap packed in?? Won't that damage the CF shell due to heat??

Over time while riding, the packing gets "worn out" and needs to be repacked. The fiberglass is the packing and eventually if you dont replace it, the system will get louder.

Understood, approximately how long do you think the Yosh factory packing lasts? And what would the affects be on the perty CF canister once the packing is gone?? I assume as well as the sound deadening characteristics, it also has some insulating effects??
