Keeping that helmet visor scratch-free

Anyone have a proven method they use on their helmet visors that cleans without creating hairline scratches. I have a brand new helmet and it's visor is still mint.

I'd sure love to keep it that way.

I was told not to use windex. i was told to use honda polish and a soft cloth. Cloth can only be used for the screen.

Get some microfiber cloths from Costco or wherever and keep one in your tankbag or tail section with a little spray bottle of your favorite quick detailing product.

Their BeadX spritz is fantastic for visors and your whole bike, the formula113 wax is also great for bikes.
I clean expensive stuff for a living. Trust me on this.

I've been using Maguires (sp?) plastic cleaner on my visors with excellent results. Their plastic polish will take small scratches out of plastic also. Using the cleaner then polish on your visor/windscreen makes them mighty clear. Good products.

:argue: I use a product called "Tend" that iI found out about
some years ago when I bought my boat with a weathered 7 scratched windshield.
Go to a plastics store (sells Lexan ,Plexiglass,etc..)
and seek it there. I got the cleaner/polish and cleaner/reconditioner , which works the best for me.Both 8oz.

I use it on visor as well as windscreen.
