That was the Ninja 250 in the video, the 25r is a completely different bike. I agree the DR likely has more torque, (it's more than twice the displacement) but I expect the 2.5 will produce plenty of power as long as you keep it on the boil.

With those high revs, this little bike won't be long lived sort of like a 2 stroke of yesteryear. Of course Kawasaki figured this into it's design as it is an entry level bike.
