I feel for ya bro(seriously).Weather out here is unseasonably warm for us right now,usually lows in the 30's and highs around 60(which still ain't bad).I put in my first 35 years in IL(about 80 miles south of Chicago)and remember what it's like for the scooter to be garage bound for 4-5 months,came west in Jan. of '91 and shyt canned my snow shovel.
