What really distresses me is the tech is driving vehicles today and not the driver, active cruise control and the like.
Many drivers don't do shoulder checks or physically look behind them when backing up...let the cameras and sensors do all that.
The sad thing about all this tech is it will progress to the point of the vehicle will be in control. All it would take is a bad guy to find a way to interrupt this tech and could you imagine a busy freeway at rush hour when they do that.
