Yeah, I should have added in my post that looks ain't everything... at least to me. I've dated some smokin' azz hotties and I've dated some not-so-hotties. Trust me, the hotties I've dated and/or known were full blown industrial strength basket cases without exception.

Looks are very subjective, too. I'm sure there will be some who don't think the face I posted is hot. She won't suit their tastes. Obviously me an' Pac Man have excellent taste, but not everyone will. Hehehehehehehe... Just kiddin'.

 

I used to chase the hotties and go for looks but I got tired of the bullshid that comes along with 'em. Now I go for personality and communication. I've found that some of the most beautiful people are not that great lookin'. Personally, I think anyone vain enough to go for looks over all else deserves the shid they get in the end. I'm glad I've finally come to appreciate people for who they are, not what they look like.

Don't get me wrong, I have a certain "type" that I love to look at. Bein' a wannabe photographer I regularly see gorgeous faces with features, lines, and shapes that I truly enjoy as if they were works of art and would dearly love to photograph them. I appreciate physical beauty when I see it, I just recognize it for what it is, and what it is not. What it is NOT is an indication of the person behind the face. Yeah, I occasionally (and thankfully) get a testosterone surge and I might post a pic of miss Jolie, or drool alongside WWJD over Anna K., or even make some stupid remark that makes me look like a jerk, but when it comes down to reality I'm actually not as shallow as I might appear sometimes.

If you gotta ask other people if they think your wife is hot, then you got some issues. Its not what we think of her, its what you see when you look at her. I think my wife is beyond stunning but I could care less what anyone else thinks of her. When you look at her , do you think she is hot. Are you embarrassed to let her ride on the back of the bike. You answer these yourself and tell her how you think of her all the time and things will be good .... This is very true, and there is a definite trend towards the "Highly Ornamental" women just not being worth the nightmares and Baggage... It's like dating a model or a stripper. Sure they are fun to take out and show off, they make nice decorations, but there are so many of them that are so damaged mentally that they trully are not worth the headaches they are going to cause.

So, like JFKSmith said, you are the only one that has to find your woman beautiful, and you had better love her for who she is, not how she looks or your doomed... Looks Fade, People age.... You better make sure you actually love your woman for what and who she is....
