Installing fairing screens today

I am the 3rd owner of my 04 Busa and I have a box of Clark Custom screens that 1st owner bought and never installed. Hoping someone could tell me if the high temp silicone mentioned in threads is an auto parts store item or something in caulking tube at the hardware store. Brand names? Thanks

I used a two part epoxy postal recommended that walmart had. Make sure what you use doesn't mess up your plastics.

Yes, I used the 2 part epoxy when installing my screens too.

I also used to part epoxy.

Thanks..I used 2 part epoxy..got tail and right side done..in the morning left side...then DONE! What a difference a few little chrome screens make. I have never taken the plastics off so it is taking a little more time than I want.

I used gutter screens. 1 buck a foot at ABC supply. It was a pain in the butt to cut and form, but came out real nice. the whole project cost me about 7 bucks.

gorilla glue Epoxy and I also welded it into the plastic with a soldering gun.
