in need of HELP!!!

ok, I just picked up my hotbodies windscreen. I'm trying to pull the old one off but cannot figure out how to remove the piece of plastic above the gauge cluster. am I missing a clip, push pin, or something somewhere?? help me out guys.Thanks

this a gen 1? just pull the 2 Allen heads on the outside, pull the rubber bushing out (or I have seen guys just yank the screen out) no need to pull plastic on Gen1 do not know about Gen2

its a gen2. ok...I'll give it a shot

wet the rubber shouldered bushing (in your mouth) and push it back in after you replace the windscreen.. then insert/tighten screw (just snug)

ok...another question...are the gen1 screens different than the gen2?? I'm having a tough time getting the new one in. is there a difference or is it just that much of a pain in the arse???

I dont think they are the same. Same procedure, but different screens.

they are very much different. the gen1 screen will not fit the gen2.trust me i know but dont ask me how
