If the Hayabusa never existed...

I'd probably still be into jap crusers, but there are a lot of cool spot bikes out there to choose from.

The ZX14 is quite the looker at the right angle. Never fit me quite like the Busa though.

The Aprilia Tuono has to be one of the funnest hooligan bikes I've ever ridden, so likely a naked standard with a lot of horsepower.

Put a couple thousand on the BMW K1200R last season, great bike, but hard to justify the price.

A 1200 or 1250 Bandit S. Really good torque under 8000 RPM. And a true work horse. Extremely dependable and all around great bike. This bike's best trait is it does everything really well.

+1000 Could not agree more, true workhorse!
I had a 600 and was going for the 1200 - 1250 then saw the busa.

I probably would have gone a little farther towards the sport-touring side, the Yamaha FJR.

If the Busa never existed , i would only have one bike instead of two  my Suzuki GSX 1400SE
2007 Busa
2009 GSX 1400....life is GOOD !!!
