I say have as many raffles as the Board will support. Meaning as long as the tickets sell fast, keep it up.

I do have a request though...

And understand I wish no actual harm to Casche but...

Will someone please post his full name so everyone can be watching out for him and warn others to watch out for him...

He may have walked away from the Board and the members here but I doubt he will walk away from bikes, racing and Busa's.

He will surface at a track sooner or later and the people around him deserve to be warned...

And posting a name can cause no harm I think...

Again I mean no harm with this, just a heads up for others...

different prize each time
tires,helmet,tobin seats,nos kit,jacket,storage bags,I-pod,under tail,gps unit,pcIII usb with the famous J.C map ,clothing,helmet and matching busa shields,triple tree,frame sliders,chrome rims,ect.

The raffles can be fun and will bring finacial help to the board, but if you have more important matters to deal with they can wait.

What ever causes the least amount of stress for you! If small raffles generate enough to help and don't add to much to your plate or the mods... I say keep em small until we weather the current storm... Once we are through go back to bigger and more expensive.

How about members having the option to donate raffle prizes instead of (or as well as) cash to become a donating member?

That way, the item has already been purchased, and the Captain gets to decide how much profit/tickets he wants to generate, without having to allocate the money for the initial purchase?

If you're concerned about getting items that nobody wants, we could have a thing like a "top ten list" where people can vote for items they'd most like to win.

Or has this been tried before?

I say we do whatwe need to do to keep the board going ..Raffles are fun and you get plenty of people envolved that way also . You know if it wasnt for RSD we wouldnt be where we are at might not be here at all .. I say once everything is caught up and ahead again we do a group donation and see about getting RSD another bike .Or something to show the gratitude for standing up . You figure with what cache got we could have just about put RSD on a new bike . And probably all felt alot better him getting something out the whole deal..Just an Idea....
