you gotta become undumb to do suspension. I was dumb too, then I just tried the sportrider stuff. but i know what you mean. I always wanted someone to post up some very basic improvements but no one would. it's not that hard really. Here:
Sport rider settings: clicks out, means turn to full hard, then back out a number of clicks. usually it's:
Soft <--> Hard. just watch the markings
FRONT:
the top screws, center of forks [rebound]: 2 clicks out
bottom screw, back side of lower fork by tire center [compression]: 8 clicks out
larger bolt, top/center of fork [preload]: 4 LINES showing
REAR:
bottom screw on lower left side [rebound]: 10 clicks out
screw near top of shock on let side [compression]: 7 clicks out
big adjustable spring [preload]: 20 mm of thread showing
to put it back to factory soft use the Manual's settings.
