I have been considering pulling the trigger on a 2006 F4 1000. Beautiful bike. Art. So I have been visiting the MV Agusta forum to do a bit a research.

Man, what a bunch of posers. They are only concerned with money, status, and the fact that no one else can afford their bike (or should I say, is nieve enough) - so it is exotic - and all of that.

I am now, more than ever, a muscle bike guy. No Eurotrash for me, thanks.

Same basic crowd as Harley riders ! Basicly riders or posers ! But then, that's in everything

Me, I love the MV and if there was a dealer closer than 275 miles, I would probably have one. But for me, I don't care who or who does not know what I own, it's for my entertainment and no one elses

BUT THE BUSA IS BETTER

It is a shame about the tossers. The MV is a nice bike. Not as much fun to customise as the Busa. It is the experience that matters, not the rocket. For example, the guys on Apollo 13 had a pretty good story and their machinery wasn't the most expensive. obviously.

If Bikes are your Passion, you've got to undeniably admit that the MV's are Absolutely Beautiful Bikes, regardless of Euro vs. Japanese vs. Harley, etc.

If I could figure out how to increase my annual salary by the cost of the MV, that would be my justification to add one to the Collection. The one shown below is only $43,000.00!!!

You Do not have to be a poser, to love a Work of Art, such as this.
You only need to appreciate beauty
(and figure out how to budget for an addiction with bikes of any kind.

I'm still drooling over that picture that Director posted. For me, motorcycles have nothing to do with image; it's that one on one relationship between a rider and his bike that keeps me climbing back on. I'm sure I would get along just fine with the MV, but my wife would definitely kill me

I like the single sided swingarm and the exhaust. Not worth the kind of money they ask for them. Sorry but NO street bike is worth paying that kind of money for IMO. Then again I don't make SERIOUS jack either. Perhaps my perspective will change when 40K isn't a lot of money to me anymore...

It's all Relative!

Alot of the people I know will balk at the price of a pricey bike like the MV and the joy it would bring,
But turn around and go into debt on a $45-$65,000.00 SUV with 24" wheels, etc., just because they think it's sexy and they need it for Soccer practice!!
