how are you scratching your hump while riding. I find it difficult and embarrassing, standing on the pegs and scratching my hump. really though how?

seems would be cheaper to paint, than buying that? kinda takes away from the aerodynamics of it,, its there to be seen, , not covered,,

I ride everyday and wear the backpack when I ride. New paint would be scratched in no time.

I had the same issue and now the hump lives in it's box. rear seat is back on. I use the bike for work with a backpack. I noticed the top of it getting a bit mar'd so off it went.

Well, I guess it would work. Ugly as sin, but keep the hump from getting scratched.
I'd go along with CorrodedAlien, just use the seat and grab rail.

right, or get a bag with material that wont scratch paint
