How'd you choose your helmet?

I saw a rider today on a Blue R1 wearing a blue jacket, but his lid I just finished watching Biker Boyz was what looked to be a yellow Jake Zemke replica hemet (pictured below for those who don't know). The helmet in no way matches the scheme but I guess he chose that helmet so that he could be seen better.

My helmet is black and grey to match my bike, so obviously it's not quite as visible to cagers as the Zemke helmet ... to each their own.

My question is, does your hemet match your bike or did you get your helmet to be as visible as possible regardless of the color?

I'm a Shoei nut.... Always start there, then look for something to represent the bike! Now, that I analyze that make that +3

Well... it came with the bike. If it weren't a Shoei I wouldn't be wearing it (comfort/safety). It matches the bike too so the best of everything here!!!

All 9 match my style and riding gear!

A good helmet, I.E. Shoei.......try to match when possible. Last year I picked up a top shelf Shoei on closeout. Didn't match my bike but I love Shoei so thats all that matters.

I gotta have it match at least a little.

Black is still my favorite though...I bought a new Arai that matches my bike pretty well yet I still wear my old black Arai more.

I would like to match mine but the Shoei Busa Helmet's are not available in the UK, so It's a Arai race rep for me.

My Arai signet GTR kinda matches my 05 red and black but it was not a must when choosing it...

First comes comfort and security... Then color choice
