Use a Gold Foil as the transition... Keep it as Shocking as possible!

Maybe metal (gold or bronze) flake clear gloss fading out across the black

Maybe Go to the hardware store and see if you can find some Black Clean Release masking tape, and experiment with just the tape blocking out the final look. Save money on any sort of decals and when you find the one you like take the panel straight to the painter... That way there wouldn't be any guess work... I think fading it would look pretty darn cool...

I know how you can solve the transition problem in 5 minutes and for $3.49.
All you need to do is spray the frame and swingarm primer grey.
Primer is always the way to transition between two different color body panels.
