I will be painting the nose fairing and left side engine cowl fairing on my 2007 pearl nebular black busa. Will a pint of base be enough? Planning to buy colorrite. It's 1:1 mix.
i was thinking on this. Alot of the answer would depend on what you are doing. When i paint i like to do 6 or 7 coats sometimes more. You may only do 2 or 3. Thats why i kinda of held back/. A quart with all the hardners etc should be enough.
I will probably just do two coats of base and three of clear. No sanding between coats since it's metallic paint. I ordered a pint of base, the reducer, and a quart of clear.
