How bad is 16/42 gearing on the highway?

Damn 99, how do you keep that beast on the ground??? I'm 7" over and it still lifts going into 2nd under full throttle...

Been running 16-43 for years. 5k at 80 mph was a little much at first, but I got used to it.

I switched to a 17 on a six hour trip, though.......

You will not regret it!
