Honda oil

the best dealer around me is a multity brand dealer suz,hon.yama,etc. when i called for an oil change i got around to asking what brand of oil they use he said honda hp4 oil.he said he uses it in his 2003 gixxer 750 and changes it every 1500 miles because he rides hard,he said you will not notice anything wrong oil is oil brand to brand unless it's syn. oil.he is probaly right what do you guys think.

I run the Honda oil in my 2002
67,000+ miles seems ok to me.
I change mine every 3,000 - 3,500 miles
Change the filter with every oil change.
