I haven't posted much lately (been bicycle training and racing for a couple of weeks in Utah) but wanted to tell those of you who have followed the Superbyke build and evolution for the last couple of years....that I have decided to go GSXR 1000 subframe and tail! This of course, will be via my good friend Scott (Isiahstites) and his metalurgy genius. After all is complete, we will shed a few more pounds, change the visual profile, and modernize the overall appearance while making the overall package more in scale with itself. Right now I'm thinking we'll stay with the 05 metalflake charcoal black color. Also, I'm considering removing the exhaust system and going to the double downpipe turbo configuration (it's just not that loud which pleases me). More later! Doyle

i think that will look great, i don't necessarily like it on a regular Busa (just my worthless opinion) but should be perfect with your project :beerchug:

I like the curved down pipe with the angle cut that makes the opening appear larger. Sounds like awesome final touches

No ironman but I did just return from the Huntsman Senior World Games (all 50 states and 22 countries represented). 1st week was all roadbike events and 2nd week all mountainbike. Here's the bragging part (and honestly I don't feel comfortable about "let me talk about myself") I got 4 gold medals, 2 silver and overall champion award! Lots of training and the bar is always really high for me because I ride with 20-50 somethings so being 66 is a lot of work! Re: the mirrors...Oberman from Germany and the only place I've seen em (sorry sponsors) is Streetfighters Inc. Doyle
