ok, so the 99 I just bought has polished wheels and frame. My question is how do I brighten it. i tried to polish it but it is still just a little dingy looking should I wet sand with a high grit paper and repolish to get the luster back. The guy I got it from obviously didnt clean very well.

Sometimes you have to strip it down and bring it back up if it has been so long that it has yellowed. I use Meguiar's polish and it works well even after some extended time, but keeping that shiny look on polish takes work which is why most folks chrome instead.
