Helmet laws are un-American. If you want to put yourself at risk it should be your prerogative.

And you should sign a waiver protecting the rest of us from high insurance rates.

Im from Birmingham Alabama, and when I ride my bike down to Panama City Beach Florida I will ride without a helmet if Im only staying on the Front Beach Road, speeds dont get very fast on the front beach road,mostly stop and go, but if I know im gonna get on the bypass I wear the lid, speeds go over 60mph on the bypass and Ive seen bad accidents on the bypass during Thunder Beach when they get back there on the bypass with no helmets and to much to drink.I drove my car down to PCB last week, and coming home saturday morning I seen where a man on a bicycle was struck and killed while riding in the bike lane on Hwy 98 just outside of PCB

Dangerous thinking friend, one of the worst injuries I have ever seen in 5 years of motorcycling was on the Fort Myers Beach (an island) with traffic speed of well under 10mph. I'm not saying I haven't been down that stretch of road without a lid, but after that day I would never consider it...
