That is fast for a 500. I would bet he had a full shell on it. I had a 1972 Kawasaki 500 two stroke triple that blew everything around here off the road. As long as you were going in a straight line that is. This guy was my age. Like someone else said, he went out doing what he had a passion for. Sad to hear though.
