Sorry for my bad English ☺️
Hi
I have a Hayabusa 07 gen1 with 115.000 km and I decided to convert it to gen2.
I bought the whole fairing (not an original one though)
I have modded the gen1 subframe so it can fit the gen2 tail.
If anyone needs any help to do the whole mod dm me.
I haven’t any help so i would like to help others.
Before and after photos…
I think i will stay only in the fairing conversion only…

Welcome along from a Kiwi in New Zealand, the Oasis of the South Pacific!
You’ve done a great job on the conversion,
Personally I prefer the Gen 1 shape… especially the tail section, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.
Is it just the tail you are changing or will you do more?
Tell us about yourself and your bike history etc…. I see your bike is in a car parts Auto store, is that your shop?

Hi
Thank you so much ☺️
Well,
It’s love from the first ride as they say
A close friend had a gen1 5 years ago and when I sat on it I knew what i had to do…
Back in the day i had a Zx6r with dynojet upgrades and a gsxr 1000 k8 but they didn’t fill the gap…
And here i am… I bought a gen1 hayabusa last December just because i like to do things by myself I decided to put the gen2 fairing.
Its a tricky thing especially if its not the original parts as it was mine.
It needs plenty of fantasy to make them work together .
And yes We run a family business car shop and car detailing center since 1984.
Thanks for the interest

Your 'bad English' is probably better than most of the members here lol.
Well, you've come to the right forum for all things Hayabusa, the amount of info on mods, maintenance, and sheer Busa indulgence here is staggering!
You will also make new friends here, pretty welcoming bunch of people on this forum.
Hey, are you going to fit Gen 2 fairings to the front of the bike?

Uhhh . . ok. lmao.
Silly me, I was looking at the rear end for too long and completely missed seeing the front end lmao!
Looks amazing, well done!
Did you use Gen 2 front and rear sub frames? Or just modified existing Gen 1 sub frames?
